| Gaikwad School is a home for under privileged children between the ages of 5-18 years, who work at railway stations and tea stalls. It is located near Pune railway station (new address: above BMW showroom ). |

| It’s the first visit of our SPANDAN team at Gsc. This school provides not only a home but also education to these children. The children here belong to 1st to 10th standard.
The SPANDAN team spends time with them every weekend. Our target is to encourage them to succeed in their lives. For this, the team teaches them subjects like Mathematics, English, Basics of a Computer etc. as per their interests. Before beginning with their education, a counseling session is held with the children.
A painting competition was held at Gaikwad School by SPANDAN on 26th January 08. |
